What is gemix.jp?

gemix.jp is a mail-in grading and slabbing service where graders and AI grade the card. It issues a single 1 to 10 grade (no subgrades) with a defect report and QR verification, and focuses on Japanese-market TCGs such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Weiss Schwarz, Duel Masters and Dragon Ball. Pricing is per card by declared value, starting at ¥3,500 per card for the Basic tier (10-card minimum). Because it returns a physical slab, it competes with PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC and TAG rather than with pre-grading apps. You could pre-grade with Binder AI before deciding to submit to any of them.

About Binder AI

Binder AI is an AI pre-grading app for iOS, Android and the web. You photograph the front and back of a card and get an overall grade estimate on the PSA, BGS or TAG scale you choose, with centering, corners, edges and surface subgrades and written condition notes. It also has a manual centering tool, identifies the card, shows eBay sold prices, price history and a graded value table, and sorts cards into binders by game or sport with sharing and wishlists. It supports Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Digimon, Lorcana, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, WWE and non-sport cards. The app is free to download, and grading is included in a subscription: $1.99/week, $3.99/month or $24.99/year on the website ($4.99/month or $29.99/year in the App Store).

No. Based on their listings, the Gemix phone app is an AI grade estimator, while gemix.jp is a Japanese mail-in service that grades and slabs cards.

Does the Gemix app work on iPhone?

We confirmed the Android listing on Google Play but could not verify a current US App Store listing as of October 2026. Binder AI is available on iPhone, Android and the web.

Can I use Binder AI before sending cards to gemix.jp?

Yes. Binder AI's estimate is not a gemix.jp grade, but its centering, corners, edges and surface subgrades can help you decide which cards are worth submitting to any grading service.
