What Binder AI does
- Estimates a card’s grade from a front and back photo on the PSA, BGS or TAG scale you choose
- Gives centering, corners, edges and surface subgrades with written condition notes
- Includes a manual centering tool for borderline cards
- Identifies the card and shows eBay sold prices, price history and a graded value table
- Sorts scanned cards into digital binders by game or sport, with sharing and wishlists

What Binder AI does not do
- Issue official grades or slabs (only a grading company can)
- Authenticate cards or reliably detect counterfeits, trimming or other alterations
- Estimate on CGC or SGC scales (estimates are PSA, BGS or TAG only)
- Buy, sell or host a marketplace for cards
- Offer a free trial: the app is free to download and grading is included in a subscription
Why we built it
Grading fees, shipping and months of waiting add up, and a lot of cards come back lower than their owners hoped. Binder AI exists to answer the question collectors ask before they pay: is this card likely to grade well enough to be worth it? We pair that estimate with sold prices so the answer turns into money math, and we publish free tools like the card centering calculator and the is my card worth grading calculator for anyone who wants to check by hand.
How we write about competitors and grading
Our guides and comparisons cite official sources and date every competitor fact. We make Binder AI, so we say so on every comparison, and our 87% accuracy figure comes from Binder AI's internal comparison of app estimates with returned professional grades.
