Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account and contact information: email address, name or username, authentication details, support messages, and information you add to your profile.
• Cards and content: photos submitted for scanning, card details, AI analyses, collection and binder records, and content you choose to share. Your device asks for camera or photo-library access when needed.
• Payments: subscription status, product, transaction identifiers, and purchase history needed to provide access and support billing. Apple, Google, or Stripe processes payments depending on where you subscribe; we do not need your full card number to provide BinderAI.
• Usage and device data: app and website activity, browser and device type, operating system, diagnostics, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, cookies, and similar identifiers. Where permitted, advertising identifiers and campaign or conversion data may be collected.
• Information from others: sign-in providers, app stores, payment processors, analytics and attribution providers, and other people who interact with content you share may provide information needed to operate BinderAI.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; scan and analyze cards; save collections; provide community features; deliver subscriptions and support; send service messages; improve performance; detect abuse or fraud; measure marketing; and meet legal obligations. We may send promotional messages where allowed; you can unsubscribe using the message or contact us.

Card photos and scan requests may be sent to AI and image-processing providers to return results. AI output is an estimate and may be inaccurate. Avoid including sensitive personal information in photos or text you submit.

When we share information

We share information with providers that help run BinderAI, including Supabase for accounts and storage; AI and image-processing providers such as OpenAI and Google; Apple, Google, and Stripe for purchases; email and support providers; and analytics, attribution, and advertising partners such as AppsFlyer and Meta. Depending on their role, these partners may receive device identifiers, usage or purchase events, or content submitted for processing. Advertising partners may use information for attribution and, where permitted, targeted advertising.

Others can see content you intentionally make public or share through community features or public binder links. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction. We do not provide payment card numbers to advertising partners.

Your choices and rights

• Access or edit available account and collection information in BinderAI. Request account deletion from Settings or by emailing us. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription or delete an account.
• Manage camera, photo, notification, and advertising permissions in device settings. On iOS, app tracking requires Apple’s permission prompt where applicable.
• Control cookies using browser settings. You may request access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out of advertising-related sharing by emailing support@binder-ai.com. We may verify your identity. Rights vary by location; some information must be retained for legal or security reasons.

Retention and security

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet tax, accounting, or other legal requirements. Periods depend on the record. Backup copies may remain briefly after deletion. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children and international use

BinderAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. We and our providers may process information in the United States or other countries, where privacy rules may differ from those where you live.
