PSA's lower-cost Value tiers (including the Collectors Club-only Value Bulk tier, listed from $24.99 per card) were paused for new submissions as of October 2026. Collectors Club membership is $149/year (Standard) or $199/year (Premium). Return shipping is extra and starts at $19.99 for 1 to 4 cards insured up to $2,000.
Worked example
The calculator opens with three cards declared at $150, $400 and $1,200. The first two fit PSA Standard (up to $1,000) and the third needs PSA Priority (up to $1,500), so grading fees are $59.99 + $59.99 + $79.99 = $199.97. Add $15 to ship the package, $19.99 return shipping and $5 of supplies, and the submission costs about $239.96, or roughly $80 per card. That is the bar each card has to clear in added value before grading makes money, which is why the is my card worth grading calculator is the natural next step.
Three ways to spend less
- Cut the cards that can't gem. Off-center cards rarely reach a 10. Measure with the card centering calculator.
- Declare honestly, but realistically. Under-declaring invites upcharges; over-declaring pushes you into a pricier tier.
- Batch submissions. Return shipping is per package, so a few cards together cost less per card than one at a time.
